AvoArt where I sell accessories, prints, original work and other items that feature my artwork. The plan was to open it sometime in August but like you guys all know my cat got really sick and I opened the shop early in an attempt to generate some income. To put it bluntly, it didn't work. So I wen't back to the drawing board, took out my original plan, did a bunch of research and have been making improvements ever since.
I am confident that this time around I will be able to generate a little income with my shop and eventually turn it into a successful business. But that takes a lot of time, so with working on the shop and going to work part time I have been a little busy. There is still a lot to be done so I might be a little bit MIA for the next week or so. Of course you will still see me here and there but I figured I'd give you guys a little heads up.
I do have a few Vintage events scheduled for later in the month, and I also ordered my first vintage outfit (most of the vintage clothes I wear in my pictures belong to a friend of mine) so I will be sure to share those with you when they come. I also have a post about the ape convention that I attended last year that I have been meaning to share with you guys so I might post that on Throw back Thursday this week.
Also if things do go well with my shop, would you guys be interested in hearing what I did to improve it? Let me know in the comments below.
