Throw Back Thursday: 2012 Deco Preservation Ball

Now although I didn't get many good pictures of the night, the Deco Preservation Ball had a wonderful atmosphere and plenty of beautiful things to look at. Located at the Bimbo's Club in San Francisco that year, the venue was gorgeous.

There was a nice bar plus lots of treats throughout the venue including: popcorn, macaroons and some fancy appetizers. There was a live band, a performance by the Deco Bells and a classy burlesque style strip tease. All of this was in addition to a silent auction and the usual dancing and social mingling.

Sadly, I wasn't able to enjoy it  as much as I would have hoped because of some unfortunately uncomfortable shoes and about an hour and a half of working which involved a lot of walking. This year, if I am able to attend I hope things work out differently so I can dance and actually enjoy the beauty of the ball.

I also hope that I can get some good pictures with my new camera, although I still need some practice taking pictures in low lighting. I guess we will just have to see how it goes.

Until next time,
